Jeanette McCarthy Memorial
Left us June 2007, leaving behind her son Oisin, now 4yrs 9mths and her daughter Molly, now 2yrs 8mths, as well as partner Jason.
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you,
and whispered "Come to me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

You made me laugh - you made me smile,
Although it was only for a short while.
I can still remember the first day we met,
You were so funny - that I'll never forget.
I'm glad you were my friend- you helped me through,
If you hadn't been there I wouldn't have known what to do.
You brightened up those terrible days,
Showed me you understood in so many ways.
We shared it all from fears to tears,
You suffered too much for your young years.
You left us all way too soon,
Joined the angels, stars and moon.
Peace and happiness I hope you found,
Sometimes I can almost feel you around,
So I want to say goodbye and thanks my friend,
For being there for me right to the end.
Love, Kim.
